Data collected and purpose
This website does not actively collect personal data from users. There are no functional contact forms, registration areas, comments, or features requiring users to enter personal data.
The only data that may be collected automatically is the visitor's email address only if they voluntarily choose to write to gianluca.nuscis@gmail.com via their email client. In that case, the email is processed solely to respond to the request and is not shared with third parties or used for marketing purposes.
Google Analytics 4 — Anonymous statistical data
The website uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4), a web analytics service provided by Google LLC (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). GA4 collects anonymous and aggregated statistical data about site visits, including:
- Pages visited and time spent on site
- Approximate geographic origin (city/region level)
- Device type and browser used
- Traffic source (organic, direct, referral)
GA4 does NOT collect: full IP addresses (they are anonymized), personal identifying data, payment information, cross-site behavioral profiling data.
Consent Mode v2 — Granular control
GA4 is implemented in Google Consent Mode v2. This means:
- By default, no data is sent to Google (
analytics_storage: denied) - GA4 only activates after explicit user consent via the cookie banner
- Users can choose to accept or reject analytics cookies only, independently of technical cookies
- Consent can be withdrawn at any time via the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer
No advertising use
This website does not use any advertising system, direct or indirect. We explicitly confirm that:
- There are no advertising banners or ads of any kind
- No user profiling is carried out for commercial purposes
- No data is transferred, sold or shared with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes
- No social media tracking pixels are integrated (Facebook, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, etc.)
- Google Analytics is used exclusively for statistical purposes (traffic measurement, most visited pages, geographic origin) compatible with website performance analysis
Legal basis for processing
The processing of statistical data via GA4 is based on the user's explicit consent (Art. 6, para. 1, lit. a of the GDPR), collected via the cookie banner before tracking is activated. Essential technical cookies (language preference, cookie consent) operate under legitimate interest (Art. 6, para. 1, lit. f).
International data transfers
Google LLC is based in the United States. The transfer of anonymous statistical data to Google's servers occurs in compliance with Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) approved by the European Commission and, where applicable, under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Google Analytics 4 is configured with active IP anonymization.
Retention period
Aggregated Google Analytics data is retained for a maximum of 14 months (GA4 default setting). The cookie consent preference in localStorage has no expiration and remains until the user changes it or manually clears browser data.
Your rights
Under Articles 15-22 of the GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Rectify or erase your data
- Restrict or object to processing
- Data portability
- Withdraw consent at any time (via "Cookie Settings" in the footer)
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
Since this website does not collect identifying personal data (GA4 operates with anonymized and aggregated data), access/deletion requests may not apply to statistical data, which cannot be traced to identified or identifiable individuals.
Cookies and similar technologies
For detailed information on the cookies used, please see our Cookie Policy. In summary: essential technical cookies (always active) + GA4 analytics cookies (only with consent). No profiling or advertising cookies.
